摘要 :
注意力不足過動症(Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder, ADHD)是腦神經精神功能障礙，不宜僅視為心理疾病或精神官能症；中醫治療也相似於治療其它疾病，必須診察病人的個別差異、併發症，分辨其虛實比例、寒熱比例、濕瘀阻滯、內風外風等混淆因素。
成人注意力不足過動症 (Adult Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder, AADHD)的病人因增加工作、責任、挫折的壓力，可呈現較多的情緒障礙、反社會人格傾向、酗酒打架、藥物濫用、焦慮、工作時忘東忘西難做得齊全等；在廣大的青少年吸毒及犯罪人口中，有不少人具有過動症的特徵。
中醫治療成人注意力不足過動症屬脾陽虛、肝血虛、腎陽虛、心血虛者，可選治以補陽還五湯、右歸丸、香砂六君子湯，酌加補陽藥如乾薑、制附子、肉桂，化瘀藥如天麻、川七、桃仁、紅花等。少數躁煩暴怒自傷傷人等精神亢奮的病人，中醫辨證屬「本虛標實」者，可治以清肝風熱、實脾、化瘀療法。
本文選取筆者的三個成人過動症，和一個兒童過動症病人為醫案參考；中醫治療兒童或成人的注意力不足過動症，依病人各人的病情差異而辨證論治，效果良好。

Abstract
Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is due to malfunctioningnerves
in the brain, not merely a psychological or neurotic problem. Chinesemedicine
treats this disease in the same way as other diseases. First we mustunderstand
the unique situation of the patient and any complications. Then wemust
distinguish deficiency from excess, hot from cold, dampness stagnation
orblockage, internal or external wind, and other factors.
Adult Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (AADHD) often presents
withmood disorders, anti-social personality tendencies, drug and alcohol
abuse, anxiety,orgetfulness and other problems due to the added pressures
of work, meetingdeadlines, and other responsibilities. The majority
of adolescents involved in drugabuse and crime often show characteristics
of hyperactivity disorder.
For treatment of AADHD Chinese medicine classifies this disease as spleen
yangdeficiency, liver blood deficiency, heart blood deficiency, or kidney
yang deficiency.Treatment options include BuYangHuanWu Tang, YouGui
Yin, XiangShaLiuJunZiTang. Yang tonifying herbs, sucha as GanJiang,
FuZi, RouGui can be added. Transformingstasis herbs, such as TianMa,
ChuanQi, TaoRen, and HongHua can also beadded. A small group of patients
who are manic and may try to harm themselves,are known as "deficient
root and excess tip." This can be treated with clearing liverwind
heat, strengthening the spleen, or transforming stasis.
This article presents three cases of AADHD and one case of ADHD. In
treatmentof these diseases with Chinese medicine, it is important to
consider the variationsin symptoms and pattern identification of each
individual patient, thus treatmentwill be very effective.
